Terms of use
The ground rules for this site
Last updated: 2026. Fifteen short sections, and the important one is section three.
These terms cover your use of Insurance Plan Center and of the forms on this site. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not accept them, please close the tab and go elsewhere, and we will not take it personally.
1. Who may use this site
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you are arranging cover for a company or a trust, the person clicking through is confirming they are allowed to do that.
2. What we do
We compare information about insurance products, explain how they generally work, and introduce you to producers who are licensed to write cover where the risk sits. That is the whole of the service.
We are not an insurance company, not an underwriter, and not a managing general agent. We do not issue, bind, amend, or service policies, and we do not handle premium payments.
3. What a request here does and does not do
Sending a request starts a conversation. It does not create a contract of insurance, it does not promise that any company will quote you, and it does not commit you to buying anything. Cover exists only once an insurance company issues a policy document and you accept it.
Nothing on this site is a quote, an offer, a rate, or a promise to pay a claim. Prices, eligibility, and terms come from the company that writes the policy, and only that company's document is binding.
4. What we need from you
To be useful, the details you give us have to be accurate. A wrong address or a forgotten vehicle on the policy is a problem discovered at the worst possible moment, usually by you.
- Give details that are true at the time you give them
- Tell us if something changes while a request is open
- Read the policy document before you rely on it
- Tell us promptly if you no longer want to hear from us
5. Fair use
Please do not try to break the forms, flood them with automated submissions, scrape the site at volume, or use it to build someone else's database. We put up a security token on submissions, and a request that trips it will be refused.
6. Content and trademarks
The text, layout, and graphics on this site belong to us. Insurance company names, logos, and trade marks belong to their owners and appear for identification only. Naming a company here does not suggest that it endorses this site, has appointed us, or has any agreement with us.
You may read, print, and share this site for your own household or business use. You may not republish it commercially or present it as your own.
7. Third-party sites
We link to regulator websites and occasionally elsewhere. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they contain or how they handle your details. Read their own terms before you rely on anything there.
8. No warranty
The site is provided as it is, and we make no promise that it will always be available, that every description on it is current for every state, or that it will be free of error. Insurance wording changes, and a general description here can be wrong for your state. Check the policy document.
9. How far our responsibility goes
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for a decision you make about cover, for a policy you buy elsewhere, for anything a company you choose declines to write, or for a claim you make under a policy that has nothing to do with us. We are responsible for being straight with you about what we do, and we intend to be.
10. Permission to contact you
When you tick the permission box, you agree that we and the insurance companies involved may phone, text, or email you about this request. That consent is not conditional on buying anything, it can be withdrawn at any time, and standard message rates may apply to texts.
11. If something goes wrong on your side
We cannot undo a decision you have already made, and we are not able to reverse a policy placed with a carrier. If you want something changed, the company on the document is the only party that can change it. We will help you find them.
12. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law rules. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking to us, the courts of Fulton County, Georgia have jurisdiction, and both sides of that argument are better off having tried talking to us first.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and the date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version. If a change matters to you, tell us and we will explain what it does.
14. If part of this is unenforceable
If any part of these terms is held to be unenforceable, the rest stays exactly as written. We would rather keep the remainder than throw out the whole thing.
